First Ever Ultra Marathon at Hatirjheel

Date and Time: 12:30 AM, Thursday Night, 4th September 2026

Race Route:

Hatirjheel Amphitheatre Front (Start/Finish) → over the bridge beside Amphitheatre → over Begun Bari (adjacent to Sarak Bhaban) bridge → FDC Water Taxi Station → Red Crescent → over Modhubag Bridge → over Mohanagar Bridge (U-turn at 5 km point, anti-clockwise segment) → return over Modhubag Bridge → Red Crescent → FDC Water Taxi Station → over Begun Bari (adjacent to Sarak Bhaban) bridge → over the bridge beside Amphitheatre → Hatirjheel Amphitheatre (Start/Finish)

One full loop = 10 km (anti-clockwise + clockwise loop).

এম্ফিথিয়েটারের সামনে (স্টার্ট/ফিনিশ)→ এম্ফি থিয়েটারের পাশের ব্রিজের উপর দিয়ে → বেগুন বাড়ী (সড়ক ভবন সংলগ্ন) ব্রিজের উপর দিয়ে → FDC Water Taxi Station → রেডক্রিসেন্ট → মুধুবাগ ব্রিজের উপর দিয়ে → মহানগর ব্রিজের উপর থেকে U-Turn (৫ কিমি Anti-Clockwise সম্পন্ন) → মুধুবাগ ব্রিজের উপর দিয়ে → রেডক্রিসেন্ট → FDC Water Taxi Station → বেগুন বাড়ী (সড়ক ভবন সংলগ্ন) ব্রিজের উপর দিয়ে → এম্ফি থিয়েটারের পাশের ব্রিজের উপর দিয়ে → এম্ফিথিয়েটারের সামনে (স্টার্ট/ফিনিশ) (Clockwise ৫ কিমি) ১টি পূর্ণ ১০ কিমি ল্যাপ।

For the first time in history, the iconic Hatirjheel will host a true Ultra Marathon experience, introducing both 50KM and 30KM distances for endurance runners who are ready to challenge themselves under the night sky.

Rules & Regulations:

• To ensure a secure night-running environment, participation is open exclusively to male runners aged 20 to 70 years. This decision prioritizes safety and operational control for this unique overnight event.

• Open to both local and international male runners.

• Registration is non-refundable.

• This is a live event only (no virtual participation).

• No bib transfer or name change allowed.

• Each runner must wear their assigned bib properly.

• Only runners finishing within cut-off time will receive medal & certificate.

• Organizers reserve the right to modify event details if necessary.

• Participants are strongly advised to undergo medical check-up before participation.

• All runners must follow race instructions and safety guidelines.

Disqualification Rules

• Cutting the course or missing checkpoints

• Running with another runner’s bib

• Unauthorized pacing or external assistance

• Misconduct or unsportsmanlike behavior
